Hi! I’m Jo and I’ve been in the hair industry for a little over 2 years now. I started my career at a Eufora salon in Richardson and got all of the education I needed to go out on my own and open my own business. I started Cup of Jo Beauty in May 2023 in downtown Fort Worth where I was provided with amazing education opportunities; from multiple classes a month to going to Vegas for a few days for #MOthecollective. I loved my time at Novak, but God had bigger plans for me and as of January 1st 2024, Cup of Jo Beauty moved to my hometown, Mansfield and I have opened up a suite in the most amazing salon, minutes from my home. My whole life I’ve wanted to be a hairstylist. Seeing the newfound confidence I create in my clients is a feeling I’ll never be able to describe. I absolutely love getting to see their attitude and demeanor change from the beginning to the end of their appointment. My favorite thing to do behind the chair is vivid hair color. I love the creativity my vivid clients allow me to have as I create art within their hair, as well as the thought process behind making their vision come to life. In my free time, you can find me spending time with my boyfriend, playing video games with him, or hanging out with my family.
